Bill, who along with close friend and co-writer, Andy Zuckerman, was an original and founding member of the Ghosts and after 20 years still writes with Zuckerman, (Andy Z). In fact it was Andy Z's suggestion that this band become "Ghosts of Winter" since Bill has them playing much of the original Ghosts music. He recently has been named for "Best Country Performance of 2025" by The Nashville Music Awards. "Yeah, Andy and I were the original Ghosts; he's still a Ghost, always will be, in fact we expect him to take the stage with us every once in awhile" Curd says. Bill dislikes the leader role and prefers to let the band "ride" with things. "We're all big boys and hell, sometimes they have better ears and ideas than I do, we're a team" Bill moved with his wife, Grace to Texas back in 2013, from Los Angeles where he and his band, Curd, had become a stable and steady choice as direct support many of the major touring bands that wouls come into Town. with 6 albums to his name, the next one will be the first that isn't a solo album.
