Ghosts of Winter

Ghosts of Winter began back in 2006 as a performing original band called "Chime". After deciding to close the revolving door that many successful bands wind up with, the two primaries, Andy Zuckerman and Bill Curd made the decision to do a deep studio dive and call themselves "Ghosts of Winter".

Since then the band has had 5 trips tp Grammy Nomination Consideration lists, a 2023 "Album of the Year" from SBM Awards in Los Angeles, a "Song of The Year-2024" from the same organization and "Outstanding Country Single-2025" from The Nashville Music Awards.

Curd, the only original member in the 2026 lineup, says, “hell we have had so many band members, if we were a big name legacy act people would be calling us a tribute band. Isn't that what happens to Legacy acts after about 20 years? We have had an awesome 20 year run though and it's been a blast".

He goes on, "This lineup, however, is the best lineup we've had in the 20 years of "Ghosts"". "Andy has gone on to produce for several record labels and artists and so it was left to me to keep things going. Todd Sullivan reached out and we went gathering the best players in Houston and now you see and hear the results"

Listed, the band is made up of Curd, who plays rhythm guitar and does lead and backing vocals, Todd Sullivan on Lead guitars and lead/backing vocals, Randy LeBlanc on rhythm and lead guitars, Jason Keller (formerly from BadFinger) on bass and backing vocals and Greg Whitmire on drums.

Their live shows are high energy rock-southern rock with an EPK included on this Home Page "We're off to Hallettsville, Texas in October/November to track the new album with really solid material and we're hoping to hit the road early in 2027", Curd reports.

Ghosts of Winter may be a little more obscure than the National Legacy acts, but after 20 years, fading out or away, doesn't seem to be an option for these 5 rockers as they hold the brand together.
